About the project
I needed to run a vote somewhere and could have used a Google Form. But a vibe coder would rather make their own nice, custom solution.
The impact was small, but so was the work, and again I came away with some new experience. Exactly the philosophy of why reach for a generic solution when I can build my own quickly.
Why I built it
- My own rather than a generic form.
- Nicer and fully under my control.
- Little work, new experience to boot.

- Voting built on PHP + MySQL.
- My own frontend, no third-party services.
- The data is entirely mine.
